My Great 2015 Story - The Stories of O.

HellO, WOrld!

Yes, it was a year full of amazing and marvelous stories! And for all of them, I should thank you, because you were always here, with me, reading my stories and following me in all my adventures. And when I was telling you, in January last year, My 2014 Story, I couldn’t imagine that 2015 will top it way bigger!!

First of all, because I celebrated my 2nd Annyversary of my blog. And with this special ocasion, I’ve decided to transform The Stories of O. into a real and up to date lifestyle platform for the male audience. So, I added new columns: like FitMyBody, where you can find fitness tips and tricks from my personal trainers, or Special Guests, the place where you can meet the most glamorous, sparkling and gorgeous women, which are also my friends. So I want to thank Ana Morodan, Noemi Meilman, Catalina Grama, Mirela Bucovicean and Cristina Stanciulescu for accepting my invitation to share with us some of their fabulous stories. Of course, because everyting is now focused on video (Snapchat is the new Facebook, don’t you think?), I created the OvideO column, with my filmed adventures.

But this was just the beginning of an amazing year!

I was invited by Intel & Lenovo to be one of the curators of „100 years of Romanian Fashion History” exhibition at Romanian Design Week, the biggest annual event dedicated to the creative people of Bucharest. I was featured in Marie Claire magazine as one of the most stylish men of Romania, and also, Cosmopolitan nominated me as one of the trendsetters that you should definitely follow on social media, next to Mariano Di Vaio and Adam Gallagher.

Since I launched „The Stories of O.” blog, I had a dream to extend this brand in offline, so, in December last year I launched my first O. Tshirt, in collaboration with Marina Moldovan, from Skin Deep. We both loved the idea of „The Stories of O.” capsule collections, and the first one was „O.Brad Frumos” tee, available for you in Molecule-F shops, online and offline, just before Christmas.

And I didn’t stopped there! Together with Madalina Spirleanu, a talented designer, we create a bowtie and cufflinks capsule collection, „The Stories of O.”perfect for my gentlemen followers.

This is just the beginning! So, stay tuned, because more and more offline projects will follow.

Of course, I traveled a lot in 2015! I was invited by German Tourism Association to visit Bavaria for the first time in my life and I discovered the beautiful cities of Nurnberg and Coburg, I went to the oldest beer festival in Germany and I was amazed by the history of this famous region of Germany. I was excited to discover Darwin’s Room, Adrian Ghenie’s exhibition at the Venice Biennale, and I went to Tenerife for another fabulous surf camp, where I meet again a bunch of great people and I made new friends. It was the year of festivals for me, so I checked in at Electric Castle and Summer Well, and also, for the first time in my life, I went to a festival abroad: at Lollapalooza, in Berlin. I made the famous selfie in a „copaie” at Daniel Castle Hotel in Covasna, and I drinked a lot of „palinca” in my weekend spend in this amazing „Castle Land”.

Together with Sore, Ana Morodan, Sanziana Pop and Anca Serea we launched the biggest competition of last Summer: #HMUNIREACHASE, and I was invited to be part of the launch campaign of CULT, a very hip shop dedicated to romanian designers.

I continued to be a contributor for Molecule-F blog (u can read me there on every Friday) , Andreea Raicu.ro and for Intel iQ, and I was featured in The Grand Magazine, in their streetfashion column.

My team has grown, and I want to thank you all for being so interesed in joining Team O. There was only one position available, and now I’m happy to work with Mini Me, but I’m sure the team will continue to grow, so stay tuned!

I had the pleasure to create beautiful special projects with many clients this year, and I want to thank you all for believing in me and in The Stories of O. I’m sure this is just the beginning of a beautiful friendship, and I’m very grateful that you are by my side. I want to THANK YOU all for your amazing support and for the good vibes that you send to me, because you are the ones that makes me believe that nothing can’t stop a dream to come true! You just have to believe in it!
