HellO, WOrld!
It’s the weather, I’m sure! That’s why I feel like I’m in a Charles Dickens novel.
I know that London is quite far away, but these grey days, foggy and misty are more specific to the capital of England.
And, speaking of London, I have to tell you something. Today I’m wearing an outfit from „Best of British” collection of Marks&Spencer. And I love it! Probably because it makes me look like Pip, the main character of „Great Expectations” novel, after he was transformed in a truly gentleman by his benefactor. I know that Sala Palatului does’nt look like Covent Garden, and the Royal Palace is not the Buckingham, but even so, I was very happy to experience a truly british feeling. This Winter collection of M&S is made of finest materials, like wool and cotton, and combines some famous british patterns in very subtle ways.
I really loved the details in this collection, like the pheasant that I found on the jacket linnen. #socool
And now, let’s get back to Pip. And to his lovestory. Because all good stories are stories about love, and Great Expectations is a good example. Just read the next sentence, and you will find the most beautiful, powerful, dramatic, frightening face of LOVE.

And now, go back yo the first quote I wrote as an introduction to this post.

Vremea asta e de vina ca ma simt ca un personaj dintr-un roman de Dickens. Stiu ca Londra este foarte departe, insa zilele astea gri, cetoase si umede, sunt mult mai potrivite pentru capitala Angliei. Iar vorbind de Londra, trebuie sa va spun ca astazi port o tinuta din colectia de toamna – iarna „Best of British” a celor de la Marks & Spencer. Si m-am indragostit de ea! Probabil pentru ca ma face sa arat ca si Pip, personajul principal din romanul „Marile Sperante” a lui Dickens, dupa ce a fost transformat intr-un gentleman de catre binefacatorul lui.
Stiu ca Sala Palatului nu arata ca si Covent Garden si nici Palatul Regal nu e Buckingham-ul, dar in outfitul asta ma simt tare fericit, like a british lord. Asta pentru ca aceasta colectie de Iarna a
Marks&Spencer e fabricata din materiale naturale, cum e lana si bumbacul, si reuseste sa combine intr-un mod foarte subtil elemente esentiale ale stilului britanic. Eu m-am indragostit irevocabil de captuseala sacoului care are un print cu fazani!! #socool!
Si pentru ca am pomenit de dragoste, sa revenim la Pip. Pentru ca toate povestile bune sunt povesti de dragoste, iar Marile Sperante nu face exceptie. Cititi urmatoarea fraza si o sa faceti cunostinta cu fata frumoasa, puternica, dramatica si inspaimantatoare a dragostei:
„Să-ţi spun ce este dragostea adevărată. E credinţă oarbă, umilinţă fără preget, supunere desăvârşită, încredere şi dăruire împotriva ta însuţi, împotriva lumii întregi. Dragostea înseamnă să îţi dai inima şi sufletul întreg celui care ţi le va zdrobi.”
Si acum, reveniti la citatul pe care l-am postat in deschiderea acestui text.
Si intrebati-va daca ati trait vreodata o astfel de dragoste.
