HellO, WOrld!
Let’s start the week in a good mood! I have some good news, and of course I will share them with you:
– #LetsMoveForABetterWorld campaign ended up last weekend, and I’m very proud because Pescariu Sports&SPA collected more that 3.000.000 moves from his club members, in just 3 weeks. And that’s great, because as a result of this campaign, Technogym and Pescariu Sports & SPA will donate to a school from Suceava equipment for their gym. It was a good campaign for me too, because I burned out more that 12.500 kcalories, and I definitely look better. And I donate more that 17.000 Moves. All over the World there where more than 31.000 participants that collected 628.533.319 Moves.
– McDonalds, the famous Fast Food chain, confirmed few days ago that they are giving up plastic straws in favor of more eco-friendly alternatives. The program will start as a pilot program in all 1.300 McDonalds locations from UK, in May.
– Vulnerable turtles return home on an Indian Beach, after World largest volunteer-led beach cleanup. The transformation of Versova Beach, initiated by Afroz Shah, almost 2 years ago, has been called World largest beach cleanup project by United Nations. HERE you can see the movie with the turtles coming back home on the beach.
