It’s that time of the week! Again! And it’s raining! So, I need more coffee. And more candles. And a new perfume. And a big smile.
Nespresso Coffee Capsules
Well, this week it seems that I will need more coffee than ever. But I love coffee, especially the one provided by my Nespresso machine. With his tinny little capsules. And you know, the Nespresso capsule contains the world’s finest ground Grand Cru coffees!
Along with their sleek contours and range of colours, the capsules are totally protected from air to ensure that the ground coffee remains fresh over time. Nespresso uses 95% Arabicas and 5% Robustas in its Grands Crus. Arabica is a coffee variety grown at high altitudes. It is floral or fruity in character, quite acidic and has low caffeine content. The Robusta variety grows on plains. It is more intense with more bitterness and body and has a higher caffeine content. The subtle blending of these varieties reveals a wealth of flavours.
Throughout the year, Nespresso Coffee Experts travel the world in search of the finest coffee beans from small coffee producers. Nespresso takes particular care in selecting the countries that supply the coffee used in its blends: Brazil, Columbia, Costa Rica, Guatemala, Kenya, India and Ethiopia. Abercrombie & Fitch – First Instinct
I guess this gloomy weather made me a bit melancholic, and probably that’s why I needed a new perfume that reminds me of Summer. And here it is! Actually, First Instinct is the first fragrance that it’s sold outside of the Abercrombie & Fitch boutiques. This addictive and irresistible fragrance is a Fougere Aromatic Amber. Blended for the man who lives by his first instinct, this modern fragrance opens with Electronic Gin and Tonic combined with Kiwano Melon. In the heart, Szechuan pepper ignites the spark to attraction while violet leaves bring depth and a citrus twist. The base is made up of Suede musk and sleek warm amber, creating the perfect blend of fresh elements of fougere and oriental warmth. You can find it in Douglas shops (online and offline:)
Le Labo – Vintage Candle Santal 26
One of my favorite shops in the World, is Le Labo. I discover it in London, and since then, I’m looking for their fragrances, skin-care products and scented candles everywhere I travel. I’m in love with Santal 26 perfumed candle, whit his aristocratic scent, at once gentle, smoky and leathery, that will fill my home and give it a true personality. Le Labo proposes its cult candle collection in a unique vintage tin can container, distressed thanks to a very special aging process. The over packaging, a cardboard box, is a stunning piece of design by itself. Our candles are soy wax based and use pure cotton wicks. They are hand-poured in Mississippi, highly concentrated in oils with a burning time of 50 hours.

The highlight of this week is the Smiley Face Speaker. Yup! I will take it with me everywhere, because it will help me to start a party wherever or whenever I want! Da, e iarasi momentul ala din saptamana. Dar acum ploua si e o zi cam gri. Asa ca am nevoie de mai multa cafea. Si de mai multe lumanari. Si de un parfum nou. Si de un zambet.

Da, chiar ca am nevoie de mai multa cafea decat oricand. Noroc ca iubesc cafeaua, mai ales cea pe care mi-o prepara masinaria senzationala Nespresso, impreuna cu capsulele ei de cafea, mici si cu un design atat de frumos. Din fericire, capsulele Nespresso contin cele mai bune combinatii de cafea Grand Cru din lume. Favoritele mele sunt variantele Lungo: Envivo, Vivalto sau Linizio, insa gasiti toate sortimentele de capsule de cafea pe site-ul Nespresso, sau in showroom-ul spectaculos de pe Calea Dorobantilor, vizavi de Televiziune.
Abercrombie & Fitch – First Instinct – Apa de Toaleta
Vremea asta m-a cam dat peste cap (nah, acum doua zile ma topeam de cald in vie, la Jidvei, iar acum uite, ca nu gasesc UBER sub 2 X tariful normal never, din cauza ploii). Asa ca aveam nevoie urgent de ceva care sa imi aduca macar o senzatie vaga si placuta de vara. Devenisem prea nostalgic, dar din fericire, First Instinct, primul parfum pe care cei de la Abercrombie & Fitch au hotarat sa-l comercializeze si in afara retelei lor de magazine, e genial. Combinatia de arome un pic lemnos orientale, dar fresh, cu note de citrice, pepene de Kiwano, Gin Tonic si cu o baza de ambra si mosc, il transforma in parfumul barbatilor care isi asculta instinctul, luand astfel cele mai bune decizii. Iar eu ma bucur ca primul instinct al meu a fost sa folosesc acest parfum, pe care il gasiti la noi in exclusivitate in magazinele Douglas. Si online, pe site-ul lor, AICI.
Le Labo – Santal 26 – Lumanare parfumata
Eu sunt sigur ca v-am mai povestit de Le Labo, brandul american de care m-am indragostit la Londra si care are unele din cele mai cool magazine si produse de ingriire personala slash lumanari slash parfumuri din lume. Iar pe lista mea in topul produselor de la ei (care au niste coduri numerice asociate denumirilor, ca intr-un fel de tabel al lui Mendeleev reinventat) sunt cele cu Santal. . Apa de parfum, gel de corp/sampon si lumanare. Dar cea din urma este preferata mea, pe care v-am si fotografiat-o aici, pentru ca are ambalajul asta original care arata ca o conserva de tabla turtita.
Boxa portabila Smiley
Asta e cea mai cool chestie care a aparut in ultimul timp in viata mea! Pentru ca boxa asta o pot lua cu mine oriunde si e suficient de puternica incat sa organizez oricand un party ad-hoc. Trebuie doar sa-mi aleg muzica preferata, sa conectez boxa Smiley la telefon si sa apas pe butonul Play. In plus, cu fata asta zambitoare pe ea, nu are cum sa nu-mi insenineze, macar un pic, ziua.
