Good morning, everyone!
After two weeks of holiday, it was about time to tell you something about my recent adventures. Because, actually, I had two holidays in this period of time. One in London, and the other one in Tel Aviv. So, I interacted with totally different cultures.

Anyway, because I have to start from somewhere, I decided to start with a very peaceful morning in Mayfair. If you haven’t been to London, Mayfair it’s the kind of heaven full with Rolls Royce, Jaguar, Aston Martin, Ferrari cars, or with Lanvin, Dior, Chanel & Louis Vuitton shops. Obviously, it’s a very rich heaven! A place where I felt myself like Eliza Doolittle from the „My Fair Lady” movie.
But, because there is always a but, I love to dream. And Mayfair is the perfect spot to experience this kind of activity. Everything look so perfect, the shops from the Old Bond Street with the shining windows, the coffee smell that surround you in the morning, all the people dressed like in magazines, makes you feel like dreaming. Because „It calms me down right away, the quietness and the proud look of it; nothing very bad could happen to you there, not with those kind men in their nice suits, and that lovely smell of silver and alligator wallets.”(Breakfast at Tiffany’s – Truman Capote)
So, I don’t think there is a place more appropriate to start your day in London, than Mayfair. In front of the Tiffany’s store. Dreaming with your eyes open.

A venit timpul sa ma adun de pe drumuri si sa scriu prima postare despre experientele mele din vacanta. Din vacante, de fapt, pentru ca au fost doua. Una la Londra si cealalta la Tel Aviv. Adica am avut parte de niste experiente culturale foarte diverse, pentru ca una e sa bei ceaiul langa Buckingham, si cu totul altceva sa savurezi un super mojito pe plaja Hilton. Din Tel Aviv, desigur, ca in Londra nu am descoperit inca nicio plaja.
Anyway, si pentru ca trebuia sa incep de undeva, am ales o dimineata linistita din si mai linistitul cartier Mayfair. Pentru cine nu a ajuns inca la Londra, Mayfair e un fel de Primaverii. OK, e destul de greu sa faci aceasta comparatie, cand in Mayfair masinile cele mai comune sunt Rolls Royce-urile. Adica sunt cateva pe fiecare straduta. Plus niste Aston Martin, Ferrari, Jaguar-uri de colectie sau Maserati. Evident ca in contextul asta, eu ma simteam ca Eliza Doolittle din filmul „My fair Lady”, inainte sa fie luata de pe strada si supusa unui experiment social de catre profesorul Henry Higgins. Daca nu stiti despre ce vorbesc, cautati filmul, sunt sigur ca o sa va placa.
Dar cum va spuneam si altadata, mie imi place sa visez, iar Mayfair e locul perfect unde sa faci asta. Pentru ca e totul atat de dichisit , magazinele de pe Old Bond Street au vitrinele stralucitoare si minunat aranjate, aerul miroase dimineata a cafea buna, iar oamenii sunt atat de frumos imbracati, incat nu ai vrea sa mai pleci de acolo. E ca un vis frumos, unde simti ca nu are cum sa ti se intample nimic rau.

Asa ca nu cred ca exista loc mai potrivit unde sa-ti incepi ziua decat aici. Visand cu ochii deschisi. In fata la Tiffany’s.
