HellO, WOrld!
Some mornings are just perfect. You know, Sunday mornings, for example. But very few of them are the ones that will be remembered forever. For me, that morning, when I made those pictures in Rome, dressed in a wool suit from Erdem X H&M collection, is definitely one of them. The sun was rising over the Saint Peter’s Dome, in a warm Roman morning, creating the perfect romantic scenery for this shooting.
Because Erdem Moralioglu is one of fashion’s most romantic creators. And the British designer is the latest designer to team up with H&M, following Balmain and Kenzo. His exquisitely crafted pieces celebrate the power of beauty by exploring historical references and personal narratives. His dresses are red carpet favourites, worn by stars such as Emma Stone, Ruth Negga, Keira Knightley and Nicole Kidman. That’s why I’m sure that this collection created in collaboration with H&M will be a big hit! And not to mention that the camaign video is directed by Baz Luhrmann! He made some of the most romantic and beautiful movies of all time, like Moulin Rouge or The Great Gatsby.
ERDEM x H&M will feature a full wardrobe of Erdem famously feminine womenswear, an accessories line and, for the first time ever, a collection for men. That will be an alter-ego to the Erdem woman, punctuated by Saville Row influences and the soft romanticism of an English cottage. And I can tell you that I’m already in love with this collection that will be available online and in H&M Baneasa Shopping City starting November 2nd. The silk pijamas, the oversized coat and the flower printed tshirts, scarves and socks are definitely my favorites! I gotta have them all!
